The Story
Since 2008, I’ve had the privilege of working as an irrigation technician, starting with a small company called Southern Pump and Sprinklers. The owner there took me under his wing and taught me the basics, which ultimately sparked my passion for irrigation and water management. Over the past 15+ years, I’ve dedicated myself to honing my skills, learning from every experience, and embracing the challenges that come with this industry.
Five years ago, I made a decision to take my career to the next level, joining Conserva Irrigation. Their commitment to excellence and rigorous standards helped shape me into the professional I am today. Through their support, I’ve built a reputation as SprinklerDude and developed a presence online, aiming to share knowledge and empower other irrigation professionals.
Reflecting on my journey that began in 2008, I vividly remember navigating between appointments using simple 3×5 cards—a testament to the humble beginnings from which our industry has evolved. Those early days were marked by manual processes and a reliance on basic tools, but they also instilled in me a deep appreciation for the strides we’ve made since then. The transformation of the irrigation sector has been nothing short of remarkable, embracing technological advancements that have streamlined operations and enhanced efficiency.
